This guy has come a long way since Saosin, and before that High & Driving, and before that even several other bands that you've never heard of or cared about. Some of his solo stuff is a little out of my range in taste, but I like a lot of it too. It's also just cool to hear him do something a little more pop-oriented. I love Circa Survive and even the old Saosin stuff is amazing, especially considering how long ago that was back in 02-03. He's got a certain flamboyance in his song writing, like he just says what he wants and puts it all together. Not a lot of rhyming or super catchy hooks, just an honest feeling in a nice, crackly, high melody.
